About Centre Of Gravity Physiotherapy

Centre of Gravity Physiotherapy was established in 2020 by Harry Liniker, Chartered Physiotherapist, with the aim of providing high-quality, reliable physiotherapy that people can trust.

After speaking with many individuals who had struggled to find the right physiotherapy for them, a common theme emerged — treatment often felt rushed, generic, or poorly explained. Effective physiotherapy depends on proper assessment, clear communication, and care that is tailored to the individual, not simply the condition.

This principle underpins the way Centre of Gravity Physiotherapy works.

Clinical Background and Experience

The early part of Harry’s career from 2017-2021 was spent working within the NHS at Frimley Park Hospital, alongside working in private practice. This provided broad experience across a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, as well as the opportunity to work closely with orthopaedic consultants who also practise privately.

These professional relationships remain an important part of ensuring patients receive appropriate onward referral or investigation when required, and have helped shape a structured, evidence-based clinical approach.

An Individual Approach to Care

Centre of Gravity Physiotherapy was created to move away from a one-size-fits-all model of treatment. No two people present in exactly the same way, and rehabilitation should reflect individual goals, lifestyle, and physical demands.

Appointments allow time for thorough assessment, discussion, and explanation, with treatment plans developed collaboratively. Rehabilitation is progressive and purposeful, focusing on both symptom management and long-term improvement.

This experience supports practical rehabilitation planning, particularly for those aiming to return to sport, manage training loads, or improve physical performance safely.

Our Approach

Centre of Gravity Physiotherapy provides patient-centred care that is structured, considered, and based on sound clinical reasoning. The focus is on understanding the cause of symptoms, delivering appropriate treatment, and supporting long-term recovery rather than short-term fixes.
